Stormy Weather

Glad I’m inside it’s throwing it down outside. Even a bit of thunder and lightning although it sounded like it was a reasonable distance away. Need to crack on with the current section of the Noir Fairy Tale so I can dump the hero back into the real world and have the same storm soak him for a third time.

Torrential rain here in L18, the sort that bounces up again for a foot or so after it hits the pavement. The rain set off a car alarm (either that or the police should be looking for some soggy car thieves). Drains couldn’t cope, our street acted as a tributary to Allerton Road which is now fairly well flooded.
For a short while I was wondering if it was time to start looking for an Ark being built on the Mersey.
