Fairy Tale about to go Distinctly Dark

Well my protagonist (calling a noir detective a hero just doesn’t seem right somehow) is about to enter the land of the flower fairies. Which is going distinctly dark and treacherous on him.
Everything will be alright as long as he stays on the true path. That shouldn’t be too hard for a PI now should it?
