Welcome to impworks, my personal web site. Here you can find some of my pictures, role playing games, wargames, articles and other writing. There are python scripts and tutorials for users of e-on software’s Vue which I make most of my pictures in. In the words sections you’ll find articles I’ve written for the Society of Fantasy and Science Fiction Wargamers’ Journal Ragnarok, the role playing magazine Valkyrie and short stories for Astonishing Adventures Magazine. Issue 53 of Ragnarok, the Society of Fantasy and Science Fiction Wargamings magazine, is out now and includes an article by me – When Ants Attack – for use with the game Tusk.

This issue, and the last three back issues are also now available from Wargames Vault as PDFs.

I’ve been revisiting my notes for Serious and Organised after enough time for the ideas to mature a little more. After a bit of editing to cut fluff I got down to writing a background to go with it drawing on the classic 70s and 80s cop shows for inspiration. A bit more polishing and it should be fit for a play test.
