Thursday Thirteen #25

September 6th, 2007 2:12 pm

A few weeks ago my list was of herbs and spices I restocked from Matta’s International foods in Liverpool. Last weekend I went back and got some more spices. So here are thirteen more spices in Mark Caldwell’s cupboard. I’ve run out of jars now so I’ll have to stop but my cupboard smells really nice when I open it.

  1. I have never heard of some of them! Hahaha! (I am not a chef).

I think I only have cinnamon, nutmeg and garlic salt in mine.

    Happy TT!

  21. Ooh, I’ll BET your pantry smells great! We have a great little locally-owned spice place near us. When I go up to pick things up, I always check with my friends to see who needs stuff.

My car smells heavenly for days.

  23. One of my kids was supposed to make cardamom bread for a school project until I saw how much it cost….smelt great though. Sounds like it would smell pretty nice over your house based on that list!

  37. I made metal tins with magnets on the back to store my loose spices on the side of my fridge next to my stove so they’re more convenient for cooking…just an idea. I got the idea from another blogger.

Btw, ginger and turmeric are excellent anti-inflammatory spices. You should use them in everything. ;)

    Happy TT!
