Wordless Wednesday #19

August 15th, 2007 12:11 am

A few weeks ago I posted a moth that flew into my kitchen to avoid a storm. Tonight I’ve got another one that I found there when I was cooking last night. These shots don’t really do it justice as I didn’t manage to get one of it with it’s wings open while it wasn’t flying.

  11. I’m actually afraid of moths. Makes no sense because they’re harmless but eek.

  13. For a minute there I thought it was dead! I like the look of moths, just not flying around my head when I’m trying to sleep!

  25. I don’t like them in the house, or any other critter either. I don’t kill them I take them outside. Great shots though. Have a great WW. :)

  41. He does look huge, and beautiful. How big was he?

  42. Aldon Hynes on August 15th, 2007 at 9:30 pm
  43. He was about 2cm across wings closed and probably 3-4 cm when they were open.

My brain works in odd ways because now I want to know how you tell if he was a he and just what kind of specialist needs to know that for their work…
