My short story, The Electron Jockey, has been accepted for Astonishing Adventures Magazine issue #1 here are some of the character’s who appear in The Electron Jockey or the sequels I’m writing at the moment. - Mot: A secretive hero in the pulp tradition
- Dusty Sellers: An antiquarian book seller and former racing driver
- Roxie Ryan: A down on her luck night club singer

My favorite character names here are Raul Harrison and Ayumi. Very evocative!
Neat list for the week!
Hee hee! What a fun way to get names — from Spam! Hey, perhaps Spam can be useful, after all.
What an enjoyable list, and “Dusty Sellers” made me giggle!
Happy T13 to you!
Great list!
Happy TT!
How clever of you. That’s one good use of spam. Have a great TT.
LOVE it, Mark! And congrats on the sale!!!
Too funny–I never thought of using my spam folder for name inspiration!
What a great idea! LOL
Nice assortment of names. Most interesting. Very much in the spirit of Detective Perrot or Agatha Christy. Or could it be Clue?
Congrats on the sale!
LOL…great list and congrats!!!
I love the name “Mot.” Also I imagine most people would agree that “coffman” is a good name for a revenuer!
“Dusty Sellers: An antiquarian book seller and former racing driver” – fabulous!
Congratulations too.
International tax? Now that’s just scary.
Congrats on the sale… and the many sequels. Is this impacting on Fairytale Noir?? Does that have a proper title, btw?
22 is a special number for me. For Jim its 23!
Congrats on the story being accepted. And taking the names from spam emails, that is just genius

Using names from the spam folder is pure genius. At least so this dreck is useful for something other than clogging up my mail account. LOL
