WebShock

I’m feeling wiped out today. I wanted to start coding on a GUI for another one of my vue python scripts today but I really can’t face it.
As if keeping up with the basic technologies that we use on the web isn’t enough there are all the frameworks and open source projects to consider. Should we build site X from scratch, build it based on a framework or hook together a few open source products (that rarely really play nicely with each other out of the box).

I’d been feeling I was a little lacking in my experience of the open source solutions around. So I’ve been installing them and trying them out to try and get a sense of the relative strengths and weaknesses of each one. Fortunately more and more of them come with nice installation utilities but still to get a proper feel for each one takes time and energy.

  1. You could use one of your large collection of decision making tools to help you make a choice :-)
